Skin Refresher Peel

This chemical exfoliation treatment is used to correct sun damage, tighten pores, diminish fine lines, and control acne.  A blend of exfoliants is used to penetrate the outer layer of the skin and stimulate the cell renewal process.  Many patients prefer this treatment to other chemical exfoliation treatments because of its high safety margin, minimal peeling time, and visible result!

The Skin Refresher Peel is performed by the Aesthetician.  First, she the skin is cleansed and prepared for the peeling solution.  Next 1-3 layers of the peeling solution will be applied, depending on the resiliency of the skin.  The peel is left on the skin and the patient can return to normal activities.  About 48 hours later, the skin will begin to visibly exfoliate.  This exfoliation will last approximately 2-4 days.  During the peeling process, patients should not spend time in direct sunlight and should treat their skin gently as there may be some sensitivity.

The result is smoother, clearer, glowing skin!  For best results, patients are encouraged to maintain an appropriate skin care regimen recommended by the Aesthetician and repeat the treatment monthly for 3-6 treatments.
